Ingredients
Boiled shredded Chicken-300 grams
Wheat flour–2 tablespoon
Milk-500 grams
Cheese Cheddar-50 grams
Butter-1 teaspoon
Salt and Pepper-to taste
Method:
Boil the chicken and shred it into bite size pieces.
Make the white sauce i.e. put the butter in a pan on the flame and after the butter melts, add the wheat flour. Gently mix the flour with the butter making sure that the flour DOES NOT turn brown. Switch off the heat source and let the flour cool down. When it comes to room temperature, gently add the milk (also at room temperature) and mix well to ensure that no lumps are formed. Return this to the fire and add the cheese and a bit of salt and pepper. As soon as it thickens, your white sauce is ready.
Add the shredded chicken into this sauce. This dish goes really well with rice and canned pineapple slices.
Bon appétit.
