Vegetables Thai style
Ingredients
Chopped Broccoli-1 small
Beans-a few
Carrot-1
Spring Onions-a few
Cooking Oil-1 teaspoon
Lemon grass-1 piece 3 inch long
Galangal or Ginger-1 inch piece
Fish Sauce-1 teaspoon
Salt to taste
Method
Chop the broccoli, beans and the carrot.
Slice the spring onions.
Steam together the broccoli, beans and the carrot in a steamer for about 5 minutes.
In a wok, pour the cooking oil and light the fire.
Add the lemon grass and galangal/ginger to the cooking oil.
Now, add the vegetables and the sliced spring onions.
Prep time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 7 minutes
Total time: 12 minutes
Add the salt, the fish sauce and stir well together.
Our home made variation of Thai sautéed vegetables is ready.
